The Healthcare Human Factors Group is a dedicated and diverse team of human factors, cognitive psychology, and biomedical engineering experts who understand clinical users, clinical environments and human factors principles.

We specialize in user-centred design and evaluation of medical devices, clinical information systems, healthcare environments, workflows and processes with a focus on improving patient safety. Since the inception of our team in 2002, we have grown to be the largest human factors program dedicated to healthcare in Canada.
